Pathway to Pro - Miami Athletic Club Announces Collaboration with Miami Rush, Kendall SC

Miami Beach, FL (July 5, 2022) Miami Athletic Club announces a collaboration with Miami Rush, Kendall SC for the 2022-23 season. This collaboration brings together Miami Athletic Club, Miami Rush Kendall SC, and their new program Miami Rush FCA. This arrangement brings together the highest level of Pre-Professional Men & Women soccer in South Florida through the USL League Two and USL W League and a preeminent youth club powerhouse that has been a leader in youth development and player progressions into the Collegiate level and beyond for over 20 years. This relationship comes as no surprise as these organizations have been created, developed, and structured around the common goal of providing great playing opportunities to all players looking to compete at the highest level with thoughts of becoming a collegiate and/or professional soccer player one day. We know this relationship will be great as a long-term plan has been developed that will provide multiple and consistent pathways to progress at different levels of development.

Miami Athletic Club’s President and Founder, Mayowa Owolabi had this to say; “We look forward to working together with Miami Rush to provide a straightforward and consistent pathway from the youth organization into our USL Academy, USL League Two, or USL W League teams platforms. Through this relationship, players within the Miami Rush and FCA program will now have access to hone-in on their player development and experience a smooth transition for local male and female athletes to progress from the youth club into our Pre-Professional environments!”

With this collaboration, the player pool will have access to high level soccer leagues as; MLS Next, USL Academy, USL League Two, and USL W League, USYS National League, Sunshine Academy Conference League, Florida Academy League, and other leagues such as Miami Dade Soccer League, SFUYSA, and EDP.

Miami Rush FCA, established by Wagneau Eloi, former AS Monaco striker and Haitian National Team coach will provide top performing players an opportunity to travel abroad, train and compete with clubs at extremely high levels with efforts to sign professional contracts.

Miami Rush Kendall SC will also provide our top players the opportunity to be recruited by professional teams through programs offered by Cappelli Sports and Rush Soccer.

“We are excited to see this program kick off and we are happy to be able to impact the game in a positive way right here at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus” stated Wagneau Eloi, Miami Rush FCA Director at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus.

Renatto Soriano, Miami Rush Kendall SC Technical Director: “This collaboration aligns competitive organizations to continue to push our efforts at Miami Rush to offer the best playing environments for all players within the community. We will provide the right environment that allows players to chase their own individual goals as well as develop top competitive teams within the southeast region.”
