Miami Athletic Club is proud to launch our new Adult Soccer Program, starting November 6, 2025, at North Pompano Park—powered by Heart Health United and Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health.
This isn’t just a soccer league. It’s a scientifically designed journey toward better health—on and off the pitch.
🫀 About the Program
We’re delivering the Soccer for Cardiovascular Health study—a 12-week soccer-based intervention developed by Emory University’s Heart Health United initiative. This program uses the world’s most popular sport to improve cardiovascular health, build community, and boost quality of life.
Whether you’re a former player, new to the game, or simply looking for a healthy, active way to connect with others—this program is for you.
📅 Program Format
Start Date: Thursday, November 6, 2025
Duration: 12 Weeks
Location: North Pompano Park
Cost: Free for all participants selected for the study (includes gear and program access)
Weekly Schedule:
- Thursdays: Group Training Sessions (Evenings)
- Saturdays: Competitive Matches (Morning or Afternoon)
👥 How It Works
- Open to 50 adult participants (ages 40-64), split into three cohorts
- Each cohort will train and play together for the full 12 weeks
- Sessions led by certified coaches with support from health professionals
- Participants will receive regular health assessments throughout the program
