Miami AC USL W League, League Two, and Academy are all officially back!
With the summer right around the corner, the divisions have been aligned for all of our clubs competing this year in the USL, so let’s break down where to catch your favorite Florida based side playing this year!
USL Academy Cup
The third edition of the USL Academy Cup begins on March 30th with the biggest field yet.
Divided regionally and geographically, the teams will compete in their four team groups starting with a round robin format and ending with the top teams in the two groups competing for the crown!
This year we have both a U19 boys and a girls team competing in the USL A division all vying for that coveted top stop and claiming the USL Academy Cup!
Starting with the boys, they will be in the Classic Division in Group A alongside the likes of Morris Elite, Colorado International Soccer Academy and Houston FC. With just one other group of four competing in the division, the boys will like their odds of finishing high!
Moving to the girls side with their U19 grouping being made of three separate divisions of eight times.
The girls will compete in the second division, “Premier Division” alongside One Knoxville SC, Western Mass Pioneers and West Virginia United.

USL Women’s League
65 teams across ten divisions, women’s USL W League play is officially back. The league’s structure has been completely resurrected starting with four regional conferences: Eastern, Western, Southern and Central.
Teams will compete in 10 to 12 divisional matches with our women’s team playing in the Southeast Division.
Alongside Florida Elite Soccer Academy, FC Miami City, Palm City Americanas, Swan City SC and Tampa Bay United SC.
Competing in just their second season in the USL, Miami AC got off to a slow start in league losing their first two, but finished off strong winning their last three matches and finishing third out of five teams in the group.
Miami will be looking to build off of this when league play starts in just a few months! Make sure to catch the teams season opener away at FC Miami City on May 16th at 7pm, Central Broward Regional Park. See full 2023 Schedule HERE
USL League 2
Just like the USL W League team, the men will be kicking off the season on May 1st. The teams will continue to train at the premier facility, Kendall Soccer Park. The men’s team will officially be back in action competing in a 12 game regular season followed by regional and national playoffs.
Miami AC will compete in a brand new “South Florida Division”, which now splits the state of Florida into two division. The two conferences are split in to the Southern Conference and the Northern Conference.
Miami AC will be fighting it out against Altitude Rush, FC Miami City, Weston FC and Sarasota Paradise looking to build on their middle of the pack finish with a 6-6-2 record last summer.
“Coming into year two we are now more prepared to not let those points drop and be able to advance to the playoffs,” head coach, Marcello Alves said.
Miami AC will start their campaign on May 20th against Sarasota Paradise at 7pm, Tropical Park. See full 2023 Schedule HERE
